Approach to Screenwriting Education

At Film and Television Institute of Rajasthan (FTIR), Anshu Harsh brings a literary and practical approach to screenwriting education. Her mentoring philosophy focuses on helping students discover their own voice, develop ideas into compelling narratives, and understand the relationship between character, conflict, emotion, dialogue and story structure.

Her experience as a writer, poet, editor, publisher and literary mentor enables students to explore storytelling from multiple perspectives—from the initial idea and research stage to character development, narrative construction, dialogue and creating a screenplay that communicates visually.

She particularly brings valuable experience in story development, creative writing, poetry, narrative thinking, editing, literary adaptation and mentoring emerging writers.

Literary & Creative Recognition

Anshu’s contribution to writing, media and society has been recognised through several awards and honours, including the Women Appreciation Award (2014), Women of The Future Award (2015), Pride of Jaipur Award (2018), Content Contributor Award (2018), Legend in Media & Entertainment Award (2018) and the Shree Gopal Purohit Varisth Lekhak Puruskaar (2024) for distinguished writing and literary contributions.

Her participation in literary forums and poetry events, including sessions associated with the Jaipur Literature Festival, further reflects her active engagement with contemporary literature and creative expression. The resume includes visual documentation of her sessions at JLF and her participation as a guest poet at the Kalam Series in Bilaspur.
